Learning to Hear the Whispers of Spirit
Dear Friend
Have you ever felt that someone was trying to get your attention from the Spirit world?
Perhaps you've experienced a sudden thought about someone, a meaningful coincidence, a vivid dream, or an inner feeling that seemed to know something before your conscious mind did.
These moments can be easy to dismiss. But what if, instead of brushing them aside, you learned to become more aware of them?
Connecting with your angels, guides and loved ones in Spirit isn't necessarily about having a dramatic experience. Often, the messages are much more subtle—a feeling, an image, a word, a memory or that quiet inner knowing that says, “Pay attention.”
The first step is simply to create space to listen.
Put down the phone. Turn off the television. Take a few quiet moments to breathe and settle your mind.
Then ask:
“What do I need to know right now?”
Don't force an answer. Just become aware of what comes into your consciousness.
The more you practise, the more familiar you may become with the way your intuition communicates with you.
And remember—connecting with Spirit isn't about proving that every thought or coincidence is a message. It's about developing awareness, discernment and trust.
Sometimes Spirit whispers.
We simply need to become quiet enough to hear.

One of the things I most want people to understand is that you don't have to wait for something extraordinary to happen before you believe you're connected to Spirit.
Start with what you're already experiencing.
Maybe you've had a feeling that turned out to be right. Maybe someone suddenly came into your mind for no apparent reason. Maybe you've experienced a dream that felt different from an ordinary dream.
These can all become opportunities to pay closer attention.
The more you notice, the more confident you can become in recognising your own intuitive language.
Try This Exercise: Ask, Listen, Record
Tonight, find a quiet place and close your eyes.
Take three slow breaths and say:
“I am open to receiving loving guidance. Help me recognise whatever I need to know.”
Then sit quietly for five minutes.
Don't try to make something happen. Instead, notice whatever naturally comes to you—a thought, feeling, image, name, memory or sensation.
When you're finished, write it down.
Don't analyse it. Don't decide whether it was “real.” Just record it.
Try this for several days and look back at what you've written.
You may begin to notice patterns—and, more importantly, you may begin to recognise how Spirit communicates with you.
The connection may already be there. Your first step is learning to listen.
