Every choice and decision you’ve made has brought you to this very point at this precise moment in time. I do believe that some events in ones life can be attributed to fate, whereas others are just meant to happen. But, you have free will, and the choice at that moment is to determine what you do, and how to respond when the event happens. As a soul, you’re an accumulation of all your experiences that are happening now, as well as those that happened in the past. It’s the choices that you make as a result of these experiences, that determines the quality of how you’re going to live your life. In my books, I’ve written how I was in a horrible automobile accident in Los Angeles. I let the accident become a positive experience for me. I believe it was meant to happen, and it was down to my free will to either complain and blame the world, or to seize the opportunity and use it as my wake-up call, so that I could take control of my life and make the necessary changes. There are many different roads that you may decide to take on your soul’s journey. When your soul incarnates here in the physical world, its predestined journey will take you from point A to point B. It’s your choice and your free will which route you want to take and how fast you want to get there. You may take the fast route, direct from A to B, or you may meander through different side roads, experiencing all that life has to offer, as you take your time in getting to your souls’ ultimate destination. Sometimes other people can influence or accelerate your course, or throw you off your path altogether. Many of us have a tendency to listen to other people, especially those we trust. They love to tell us what they think is the best direction. If you’re going to seek professional advice, then please do your homework and seek out the person or professional who’s best equipped to help you make the best choices. If you receive advice from someone who’s less equipped and it’s not the best advice, it’s easy to blame that person. But in reality, it was your choice to listen to that person’s advice. Ultimately everything really does come down to the simple premise that you’re accountable for the conditions that are around you. Blaming others ends up taking away from your soul’s power. When you take responsibility for your choices, decisions and your life, your soul cannot help but to become empowered. When I think back, I like to see how the choices in my life brought me to this point. If I’d never moved to California, I wouldn't have had the accident that put me on this path. So, would I still have somehow walked this path? Who knows? I believe my point B was about being a psychic medium, but it was my choice to decide the path that I needed to take to get here. You have to stop and ask yourself questions once in awhile, so you can check in with yourself to see where you are at this point on your souls journey. If you are moving farther away from where you want to be, then ask, “What do I need to do right now to put me back on my path?” At least by asking the question, you’re taking responsibility for your own life’s direction. Sometimes it’s good to let go of the rivers edge and let the flow of life take you to where you're supposed to be. It can be quite liberating when you do let go. Suddenly, opportunities and choices become exciting, and surprisingly, you still feel safe by letting go of the outcome. Of course, there are other times when it makes more sense to grab a pair of oars and steer yourself in a certain direction. Your choice is your own free will —so, either hang on or let go! At least you’re asking yourself the right questions, so be prepared for your soul to answer you and let you know what it wants and needs. |
